Angela

Angela is a full time freelance artist of about 4 years with her BFA in Painting and currently in the process of her tattoo apprenticeship in North Aurora at SKYNN Studio. She has been collecting ink to decorate her body primarily over the last three years but technically beginning her tattoo collection in college. She primarily is an oil painter who’s aimed to have her tattoos themed with blackwork, black and grey illustration, and sacred geometry inspired abstractions with a “nature is my church” theme. Her philosophies of life and all the things she loves adorn her body and it has both assisted in self expression as much as self-esteem over the years as it’s served as a way to learn to love her body by adorning it with art. She sees utilizing the body as a canvas as one of the greatest honors for her “temple”, so to speak, in this life time and plans to one day have a full cohesive body suit while also assisting others in connecting with themselves through tattoos and art. Angela sees her tattoos as an active timeline of how she develops, changes and grows through this lifetime and looks forward to the continuing process.
