Born and raised in Mexico near the beach would often hear stories about these mythical creatures; wondering if they exist. When I moved to Chicago I wanted to have a piece to often remind me of my childhood and my hometown Tampico

I have always loved dragons and the meaning behind them; often depicted as strong creatures. I often ask myself if they would still exist how would they look like? So I pictured it as an insect. As an artist I often think of living in a world of fantasy and reality so this tattoo combines the two together

This was my first tattoo, so I wanted something simple yet meaning. I love typography so I wanted to have pretty letters and the quote was just perfect for it to remind myself to never stop dreaming.

I remembered I was so young when I first saw this master piece of Leonard Da Vinci. I didn’t know the meaning behind it so when I was in college I did a project based on it as an assignment I was just mesmerized by it that I knew I wanted to have it on my body as a reminder to myself being an artist. I added the wings because I wanted to make it unique. I thought to myself “how can I give the meaning of DREAMER without putting the word there? So to me the wings just made perfect sense
